Job Title: Director of Pharmacy
Job Type: Full-time/Salaried/Exempt
Seeking a highly-motivated and qualified candidate to provide leadership in a BUSY,
Independent, Employee Owned Retail and LTC pharmacy that was established in 1942!
The director is responsible for the efficient operation of both pharmacies.
(Both pharmacies are located in the same building.) The director establishes standards of quality, productivity and performance in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures and requirements of State and Federal regulatory agencies.
Job Summary: Plans, directs, and monitors all financial, operational, professional, and clinical activities of both pharmacies. Implements policies and procedures that ensure both pharmacy departments provide optimal pharmaceutical services that meet all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements. Ensures that all pharmacy staff is currently licensed/certified/registered and have adequate Continuing Education credits. Develops competence assessment programs that ensure all pharmacy staff performs all duties and responsibilities with utmost efficiency and safety, as well as, complies with all applicable policies, procedures and standards of Company. Provides all pharmacy staff with timely information relative to new drugs, policies and standards of care that relate to medication use/safety. Keeps current with State and Federal regulations regarding the practice of Pharmacy and implements changes as necessary to maintain compliance.
Job Requirements: Must have a pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy; MBA/MS (or equivalent education/experience) and/or Pharm.D preferred.
• Thorough working knowledge of pharmacy operations, processes and policies
• Understands performance improvement mechanisms and data collection
• Demonstrates strong communication, organizational and planning skills
• Demonstrates good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Must have basic computer skills and 10-key skills
• Must pass a criminal background check/HHS & OIG requirement; Must pass a pre-employment drug test and subsequent random tests
• Must NOT be on the Excluded Parties System List
• Must be bondable
Required License/Certification: Washington State Pharmacist License

JOB TITLE: PART-TIME DRIVER
Job Type: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Seeking a qualified delivery person to delivery for a busy, employee owned pharmacy, who is familiar with the Spokane/Post Falls Region. Customer Service is a top priority. Individual will deliver items including medications, medical supplies and medical equipment to residential homes, apartment complexes, and facilities according to specified route areas and follow route as mapped by dispatch personnel.
Schedule: Varies, but will include evenings and Saturdays; shift is not complete until route is finished
Hours: Less than 34 hours/week

Minimum Qualifications and Competencies Required:
• Must have a clean driving record and valid Washington or Idaho State Driver's License
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must know the Spokane/Post Falls area including outlying areas such as Elk Washington, Newman Lake and Valleyford; expansion is possible
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing at the High School level
• Must pass criminal background check with no disqualifying crimes/Requirements of HHS/OIG
• Must have at least six years driving experience
• Must pass pre-employment drug test
• Must pass math test
• Must pass map reading test
